How to validate a Mexican CLABE

How the check digit works

A CLABE has 18 digits: bank (3), plaza (3), account (11) and check digit (1).

1. Multiply the first 17 digits by the repeating weights 3,7,1.
2. Keep the last digit of each product (mod 10) and add them up.
3. Check digit = (10 − sum mod 10) mod 10.

Validate with the API

Direct use is free: 50 requests per IP per day, no signup. Endpoints: POST /validate, POST /batch, GET /generate/{doc_type} (for testing only: synthetic data, not real identities).
